Adriano Falconi

Adriano began his career in Milan studying fine arts. He was drawn to cinematography because of the unique blend of the technical, and the deeply aesthetic nature of being a photographer. Literally looking through a lens and knowing what to focus on helped him bring his stories to life. Adriano moved to LA with a dream to pursue and after only a few years Adidas “get them dirty” nailed him to the list of the 20 new commercial director to watch worldwide in Boards Magazine. Adriano has been working in USA and Canada, Eastern and Western Europe and the UAE. He has created some memorable commercials for Ad Agencies including BETC, Havas, Publicis, DDB, McCann, DDBO, Leo Burnet, Saatchi & Saatchi and Stern. His work has been showcases multiple times in Shoot and Archive. Adriano’s short film ‘Thomas’ about a bullied, adolescent boy has attained critical acclaim and has won several film festivals including, Hollywood Gold, IdieX Film Fest, Halfilm Awards, The IndieFEST Film Awards & Global Shorts. “Thomas” is a beautiful look into both the pain of being different and the joy that can come from acceptance and understanding. It was conceived as part of The Trevor Project.
