Scott Pickett is a versatile Australian director known for his passionate storytelling and dry wit. Growing up in outback Australia, his first animated film won the Museum of Contemporary Arts short film prize. He studied directing at the Australian Film Television and Radio School and went on to make award‑winning short films like "The Rouseabout", "Shot Open", "The One Who Broke Your Heart" and "The Doppel Chain". Pickett has directed drama for Channel 7 and worked on the sketch comedy "The Elegant Gentleman’s Guide to Knife Fighting" and the TV series "The Moody’s" across Netflix, ABC, Hulu and Sky TV. In recent years he has created a supernatural thriller in the USA, a fashion film in France and numerous commercial campaigns. With a keen eye for performance and tension, he continues to craft funny, beautiful and innovative work across genres.
