Born in Buenos Aires, Nicolás traded a Google desk for a camera and a tent—crossing Africa from Cape Town to Cairo and cutting a short that led to five years of travel filmmaking across 80 countries (with a film featured by National Geographic). He later studied commercial directing at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and began working across Europe. He’s now based in Berlin.
Nicolás tells stories that make you laugh or lean in, favouring practical problem-solving and using VFX/CGI only to lift the idea. He’s drawn to bold, socially minded briefs and loves stretching tight budgets in smart ways. His student film “The Decision” earned multiple international awards, including Best in Show and the Glenn C. Smith Scholarship at the ANDYs.
