Gabriel Russo is a film director and digital artist known for bold visuals and a surreal style. His work moves freely between design, motion and live action, always driven by experimentation and sharp editing. Based in Barcelona since 2011, he has worked with agencies and production companies around the world on projects for brands like McDonald’s, Nike, Microsoft, BMW, Red Bull, MTV, HBO, FIFA, KFC, 20th Century Studios, Diesel and L’Occitane. His work has been recognised with some awards including Cannes Lions, ADC , Eurobest and BMVA nomination. Russo approaches each project as a mixed media playground, blending design, art and storytelling through bold, colorful, crazy driven visuals. Rooted in music, sports and youth culture, his work moves fast, feels raw and lets different techniques collide instinctively.
